How to apply
Applications for places at Ark Kings Secondary are made in accordance with Birmingham City Council's coordinated admissions arrangements.
Applications can be submitted through the Birmingham City Council website, using the link below.
Applications to start school in September 2027 must be submitted by 31st October 2026.
Parents will then be notified by Birmingham City Council on 1st March 2027 if their application has been successful.

Open Days
Throughout the year we hold open sessions for parents and pupils considering joining Ark Kings Academy. These sessions give families the opportunity to get to know the academy and our staff, helping you decide whether Ark Kings Academy is the right secondary school.
Open sessions are timed to coincide with the secondary school admissions process coordinated by Birmingham City Council.

During the evening, you will have the opportunity to:
- Hear an introduction from our Head of Secondary, Mr O’Brien
- Take a guided tour of the school and explore our facilities
